FAQ

Why is my document not listed as an option for identity verification?

If your document isn’t shown as an option, try choosing another one. If no suitable document is available, please contact the company you’re verifying for - they’ll let you know what to do next. Sumsub maintains a default list of acceptable documents; however, the company you’re verifying for decides which document types and countries it accepts.

Does Sumsub support digital IDs?

We accept digital identity documents from a limited number of countries. Availability also depends on the verification requirements set by the company you are verifying for. If we can't verify your digital document, please try uploading a photo or scan of a physical document. If that is not possible, contact the company you are verifying for - they’ll let you know what to do next.
